Yo. Hola. Yola.
The name is Morgan and the game is growing up.
This is my Tumblr thing.
And this is an invisible high five:
Courtesy of Choose Life, Inc., these “Choose Life” license plates are now circulating 23 states in the US. Supposedly, the proceeds from the tags go to crisis pregnancy centers where they deliver the message of “using adoption as an alternative.” (I doubt that’s actually the message they give)
So..okay, I’m pro-choice, but I’m also pro-adoption. Where is my tag? If they’re truly wanting to support adoption services, they would have made a more neutral message that would attract people from both sides. It would create a stronger campaign and bring in more money for these agencies. I think ultimately though, our state license plates should be left alone. If you really want to express yourself, plaster your car in bumper stickers. Or wear a button. Or better yet— actually do something for your cause.
This just makes me want to get a license plate that says “I like tacos” or “Allergic to Amoxicillin.” Don’t tempt me to look into it.
