I hurt my foot again. And this time it was my good foot. People shouldn’t wear knives on their feet stilettos to a Get Up Kids concert. Then again, I chose to stand next to someone wearing them. Fail. Fail. Fail. Fail.
The show was great though. Even better than when I saw them in March.

This Swedish indie singer has a very promising future in music. She recently won Female Voice Artist of February 2009 at the Studio8 International Music Awards, and is performing at multiple upcoming musical festivals around the world. Worth checking out.

I can’t get enough of these French dudes.
I remember listening to tracks of off their “Alphabetical” album a few years ago and thinking they were decent. The latest album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix,” however, has drawn me in for good.
This is also not the official music video for 1901, but I have to give props to whoever created it. Three minutes of stop motion is no cake walk. I wonder how long it took to put together.

Thing #345 to look forward to this summer. The National + Fleet Foxes + Chairlift + Yeah Yeah Yeahs = yes, please. I’ve seen a lot of smack talk on message boards about the All Points West Music Festival, but I don’t care and I’m going anyways. It’s only the festival’s second year, so you gotta cut them some slack. Except for one thing: Tool? TOOL? A main act? No. Will definitely be seeking the restroom during that set. Even if they don’t have restrooms, I’ll pretend to go find some.
