FACT: Hot Chip’s “Colours” has more meaning to me than anyone could possibly understand. I basically dive into dreamland everytime I hear it. For the time being, life seems better there.

I hurt my foot again. And this time it was my good foot. People shouldn’t wear ~~knives on their feet~~ stilettos to a Get Up Kids concert. Then again, I chose to stand next to someone wearing them. Fail. Fail. Fail. Fail.

The show was great though. Even better than when I saw them in March.

Prof. Lax breaks it down:

Seven states cross the 50% mark overall as of our current estimates, but the generation gap is huge. If policy were set by state-by-state majorities of those 65 or older, none would allow same-sex marriage. If policy were set by those under 30, only 12 states would not allow-same-sex marriage.

Le Sens Propre is a short film written and directed by Blacklist’s Cisma for Adobe’s Shortcut to Brilliant campaign for CS4 (Creative Suite 4). Goodby, Silverstein & Partners came to Cisma with a 98% open brief - do whatever you want as long as you use CS4 to do it. The result is this beautiful film.
